Internal Evaluation Script (Fixed)
Good morning, my name is Roberto Cordon and I’m going to talk about a TV Series, and how it shows the reality of the Hollywood Lifestyle. The TV series is called Entourage, and it was created in 2004; it was created and mostly written by Doug Ellin. The series follows the life of a young actor, from the beginning of his career, until he becomes famous all around the world, and how he and his best friends use his fame to get what they want. They use his fame to get what they want, for example, sex, drugs, getting into clubs, getting free stuff, etc. Just like the series shows, some actors, or musicians, have a reputation of partying too much, doing drugs, having sex with fans, going to rehab more than once, having trouble with alcohol, and getting arrested. Most superstars use their fame to get stuff, but the series also shows another view of the Hollywood lifestyle which is the friendship. The main character is known by everyone for always being with his best friends, his entourage, that’s the reason of the name. It shows how his real friends protect him, for example, from doing excessive use of drugs, or doing a public scandal that could ruin his career. It also shows the importance of having the family close; the main character takes his mom to premiers, and tries to help his brother with becoming an A-list star, like him. Not every star is as shallow as they appear to be, some actually care for someone else that themselves, that what Entourage shows us. It also shows that everybody can make mistakes, but that we should not judge them just because of it. The life of an actor looks like something everybody would like to have, but its not always so glamorous, it can be full of up and downs, and it can be lonely, too.
