Travel Experiences

I saw once an article that said "Travel can often have an impact on a young person´s life" and it is true. When you are young almost everything has an impact on your life, but some things can be healthy for you physically and mentally. Usually travelling with your family becomes a great experience in your young life.

My personal experience happens to be the first time I got in a plane. I was almost 11 years old, and I waited the whole year for this trip, ever since my parents told we were making it. Finally the vacations came and the travel was about to be made. The destination remained a secret, but my parents assured me the trip was going to be awesome, something we had never imagined, and something we were going to love, and they were right. One week before the trip, they told us where we were going, we were going to Orlando, Florida, and to have perfect ending, we were going to visit my uncles in Dallas, Texas. When they told me that, I was even more excited.

The day came, and with it the excitement and the thrill. It was early in the morning, and we had to go to the bus station so we could leave to El Salvador and then take an airplane from there and fly to Orlando. It was a long ride, around 5 hours, and not so sure, after all I was only 10 years old. But despite being so young of age, I remember everything just like it was yesterday. We had to wait for about 45 minutes on the airport. But they passed so slowly, the minutes were like hours. But they finally ended, and we got inside the plane. As we were taking off, I stared at the ground, and I got a little dizzy, it was funny.

We landed on Orlando, and a friend of my parents went to the airport to pick us up, that is when the fun started. We visited a lot of parks; we went to Disney World, to Universal Studios, to Islands of Adventures. There’s one memory that I remember perfectly, I was young so I couldn’t get on some rides, but there was one I really liked but it didn´t have turns or flips or any of that, it was just fast. My mom doesn’t like rollercoasters or any of that style, but we told her it was just a fun ride with no speeding and scary parts, and she bought it. When she got down she was a little pissed but she said it was fun.

Sadly we had to leave; it was our turn to visit our uncle. And it was really fun. He had a surprise that we never even thought about. He got us tickets to see an NBA´s game! Mavericks vs Jazz! It was so fun. It was absolutely mind blowing.

After the trip, my family became more united, and I think that it was the best souvenir we could take
